D. S. Ushakov. AWAKENING WITHOUT A SLEEPER:
THROUGH THE GENEALOGY OF THOUGHT TO PREDICTIVE PHILOSOPHY
The monograph presents a fundamental ontological investigation that grounds the transition from a substantial ontology to an ontology of holding, according to which being is not an essence but a configuration of forces enduring in the tension of holding and dispersal. The author develops and consistently applies a single analytical procedure to six registers of philosophical thought — the ontological, the epistemological, the anthropological, the ethical, the register of power and order, and the register of progress, science, and technology — and discloses a common invariant: a category thought as a bearing ground, at the appearance of a plane that lays it bare, reveals its own configurational nature and, being institutionally normalized, reproduces the initial shift at a higher level. Particular attention is given to the ontological analysis of power as an autonomous system of the second nature, to its substratization, and to technological syngenesis, in which a configuration for the first time ceases to require the human being. On this basis the restoration of the prognostic function of philosophy is established: what is derivable is not the content of coming configurations but the structural form of their reshaping. The monograph is intended for specialists in ontology, philosophical anthropology, social philosophy, and complexity theory.
